This is one of my favorites in a while. It was challenging in many ways yet a lot of fun and very satisfying. I've been working and wrestling with fabrics for a while. My relationship with material has been a focus of my work and a constant question. This new combo of fabric collage and drawing reflects my relationship with that as well as two characteristics that I think are apparent in most of what I have made. That of a certain reckless frivolity and intense sensitivity.
